Clarity for leaders - coaching cultures for schools - humanity at the centre
Leadership in international schools is demanding work.
You deserve support that understands it from the inside.
I have been in international schools since 1999. I have taught, led, and twice served as Head of School. I have sat inside IB programme evaluations and coached leaders across the EARCOS region.
That is not a list of credentials. It is thirty years of learning what it actually takes to lead these schools and what it costs when leadership is not humane.
If you are here because something in your leadership feels harder than it should, or because you know you are ready for the next level and cannot quite find the support that meets you there, this is the right place.

About Me
I started in teaching in a Grade 1 classroom. I have ended up, after nearly three decades inside international education, having held two headships, evaluated IB programmes across multiple continents, and built a coaching practice from everything that journey taught me.
That arc matters. Not because it is impressive, but because it means I have stood in every room you are standing in. The classroom. The middle leadership meetings where decisions get made above you. The senior leadership table where you are finally in the room but not yet sure of your voice. The headship, where the weight of the role and the isolation of it arrive at the same time, and nobody tells you that is coming.
I know what it costs to lead in an international school. I know the particular culture of IB communities — the language, the values, the way those schools ask something specific of their leaders that other schools simply do not. I have been an IB evaluator. I have sat inside schools across three continents and assessed whether the reality matches the intention. That work taught me more about leadership than any course I have ever taken.
What I do now is coach leaders who are somewhere on that same journey. Deputies and curriculum coordinators who are ready for the next level and cannot find support that actually speaks their language. Heads of School who are carrying the full weight of the role and need a thinking partner who exists entirely outside the professional relationships that make honest thinking so costly. Leaders at every stage who want to lead differently — with more clarity, more humanity, and more of themselves.
That last part is where the HUMANE framework comes in. HUMANE — Happiness, Understanding, Mindfulness, Appreciation, Neuroscience, Empathy — is the framework I built from everything I have learned about what it actually takes to lead well inside a school. It is not a formula. It is a way of thinking about leadership that puts the human being at the centre — the leader, and the people they lead.
My work is also shaped by nearly three decades of working with schools as systems. Through the From Vision to Impact™ methodology, I work with leadership teams and whole schools to close the gap between where they say they are going and what is actually happening in the rooms and relationships that matter most.
If you have landed here because something about this feels like what you have been looking for, you are probably right. The leaders I work with best are the ones who already know they want something different. They are thoughtful, self-aware, and serious about their growth. They are not looking for quick answers. They are looking for a thinking partner who has been where they are going and can help them get there with more intention and less cost to themselves.
If that is you, I would like to have that conversation.

Understanding safeguarding can be a complex task, especially when faced with situations like a man regularly observing children outside a school, a girl sharing a potentially inappropriate photo with her boyfriend, or a teacher privately messaging students. Deciphering whether these instances qualify as safeguarding issues can be challenging. Despite this complexity, it is crucial to acknowledge and address these concerns to ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone.
